Please read the information on this sheet before you bring items into store for consignment!!!
1. The consigned price of an item will be set by management at the time of consignment. We prefer high quality merchandise. All items will be priced based on the quality of their construction, fabric, style, etc.
2. There is a one time registration fee of $5.00. The consignor receives 50% of the proceeds of clothing and household items sold. All proceeds will stay in your account until you pick it up. Checks will be mailed upon request for a $2.00 fee.
3. All items will be kept for a period of days with periodic mark downs taken. Markdowns depend on the condition, season and demand for the item. The Consignment Shoppe may also do promotional sales. All items are subject to these sales.
4. If the consignor has requested their unsold merchandise to be returned, they are responsible for picking up that merchandise. If the consignor has not picked up their items within 5 days of the scheduled appointed time, the merchandise will become the property of The Consignment Shoppe and is subject to donation to a local charity. Should a consignor request their merchandise returned before the season ends, a 5 day notice must be given to the shoppe.
5. Appointments are required to bring items in for consignment. We will accept between 1 and 40 items per appointment. If you have more items, a separate appointment must be made. Also, please bring a list of your items.
. 6. Seasonal clothing and merchandise should be no older than 2 years, stylish and in " like-new" condition. Items with holes, stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, worn cuffs, faded, piling, missing tags or altered in anyway, etc will not be accepted. Shoes must be in mint condition.
7..Garbage bags full of assorted, unpressed items will not be accepted! All clothing must be clean and pressed and on hangers or folded neatly, ready to be hung, or they will not be accepted.
8. If you want to consign furniture, appliances, large items, display tent rentals, cake decorating or specialty services, we will display clear pictures for customers to review. A mutually agreed upon fee will be paid to The Consignment Shoppe if the items sells or books a service as a result of the referral.
